Twenty speed cameras brought back into service in Mauritius

It's official. 25 of 54 automatic radars at a standstill since 1 January will be brought back into service this weekend and will again flash speeding vehicles.

About twenty automatic radars will thus be reactivated during the night of Saturday to Sunday. The remainder will be starting on Sunday, September 20, 2015, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.

As a reminder, warning signs placed 200 meters before radar and road markings now show motorists the presence of speed control devices.

Painted in yellow, the retro-reflective automatic radars include visible conductors overnight.
