Tropical Cyclone Imelda slows but strengthens
Imelda continued its intensification during last night and early morning to reach the stage of a tropical cyclone.
 
Imelda tropical cyclone moves towards the West Southwest at a speed of 7 km / h and has decelerated appreciably.
At 10 am local time on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 The tropical cyclone was located 890 km in the North-East of

Mauritius and1035 km of Reunion by thepoints 12 degrees  0 South and 58 degrees 4East.

The pressure estimated central pressure system is 970 hPa.

Even if its path is always difficult to consider in the coming days, the tropical cyclone Imelda, could be a potential threat from the weekend, with a planned merger to the Mascarene Islands (Mauritius, Reunion and Rodrigues).
