To celebrate the Cop21, the large climate conference held in Paris in which 150 world leaders came together for a historic summit, many scaremongering films were broadcast.
One of these entitled ‘Tomorrow’ by Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent was supported by the Reunion Island Region Council (Région Réunion) and the Film Agency of Réunion (Agence Film Réunion).

The latter’s mission is the implementation of a cinema, audio-visual and new media support policy for the island of Réunion.
By supporting the film ‘Tomorrow’, it is also a means by which the agency can promote the island of Réunion, and in particular, its beauty.

‘Following the publications of a study announcing the possible disappearance of part of humanity between now and 2100, Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent went with a team of four people to investigate the situation in ten countries, to try to understand what could provoke this catastrophe and over and above this, how to avoid it.’
