Three candidates to replace Alain Saint-Ange to the Presidency of the vanilla Islands

Three candidates are positioned to succeed as the Minister of tourism and culture of the Seychelles, Alain Saint-Saint-Ange, who presided the vanilla Islands during two consecutive terms.
 
Minister of Tourism of Mauritius, Michael Sik Yuen, the president of the regional Council of Reunion, Didier Robert, and the Minister of tourism of Madagascar,  Benjamina Ramarcel Ramanantsoa, thus applied for candidancy.
 
A meeting last Thursday in Victoria, Seychelles which was attended by representatives of seven member countries has not led to a consensus regarding the appointment of the new president of Vanilla islands that must be known before May 15 and the International Exhibition of Tourism of Tananarive in Madagascar, where the next president of Vanilla islands must speak, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
 
As a reminder, the Vanilla Islands (Reunion, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros, Mayotte and the Maldives island) advocate since its inception in August 2010 the repositioning of the Indian Ocean as a tourist destination and cohesion members around the country this common goal.
 
Mauritius, Reunion, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Mayotte and the Maldives and want a higher profile by bringing their plurals assets within a common structure on regional tourist destination.

The creator tourism direct and indirect jobs, sustainable real growth driver is the base of the development initiated by Vanilla Islands.
