Poet, academic and journalist, the Reunionese Catherine Boudet, who had no passport, which amounted to a house arrest in Mauritius, saw the charges against her striped, this Thursday, August 29, 2013, the magistrate the Court of Mapu said that the police investigation was botched, as related by the site.

Catherine Boudet has implicated in April 2011, the historian Stéphane Sinclair of falsifying his résumé and stealing private documents at labourdonnais castle, in the North of Mauritius.
 According to Catherine Boudet, Stéphane Sinclair allegedly also tried to gain access to various documents of the Blue Penny Museum, using a letter to header of the Prime Minister.

He had been hired as a consultant to the foundation of the Immigration Depot, historic landing site of the first Indian indentured arrived in Mauritius.

The Mauritius police will challenge the historian at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam airport, on the complaint of Catherine Boudet and then permitted to leave Mauritius the same day.
