The Carte Blanche operation of the Vanilla Islands explained by Pascal Viroleau, Director of the Vanilla Islands

Pascal Viroleau, Director of the vanilla Islands *, had been in Mauritius last weekend for a few hours before flying off to the Seychelles for a mission of regional cooperation.

A meeting that allowed us to make the point with Pascal Viroleau on the Carte blanche operation launched since a few weeks on Facebook by the Vanilla Islands and who wants to make the promotion of the islands of the Indian Ocean on social networks.

After photographers from Reunion, Seychelles and Madagascar this week it was the turn of Mauritius to be tamed by the goal of a Mauritian professional image.

The associations of Vanilla Islands hopes to involve a large number of local players to its promotion on social networks so that images that are broadcast are issues of the choice of many.

Each week, a photographer puts forward his island and chooses the pictures that seem most representative according to him.

The artistic choice being his only, without interference or proposal of the structure of the Vanilla Islands.

Each photographer is thus directly involved to show Internet users his personal vision of tourism.

You will find the choice of insular photographers on http://www.facebook.com/Iles.Vanille.Vanilla.Islands for those who want they can also take part in the adventure, simply apply by mail at info@vanilla-islands.org

As a reminder, the Vanilla Islands (Reunion, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros, Mayotte and Maldives) advocate since their inception in August 2010 the repositioning of the Indian Ocean as a tourist destination and the cohesion of these countries around this common objective.

Mauritius, Reunion, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Mayotte and Maldives want to have greater visibility by bringing together diverse strengths within a same tourist-oriented regional structure.

The sector tourist creator of direct and indirect jobs, real perennial lever of growth, is the basis of development initiated by the Vanilla Islands.
