Seychelles want to seduce Japanese tourists
A delegation of the Seychelles Tourist Office and several operators of the sector went to Japan, from 12 to 15 September, to promote the archipelago at the international fair of tourism of the JATA, organized by the Japanese federation of travel agencies.

The Japanese market is one of the top three tourist growth markets in North East Asia, twelve hour flight from the archipelago.

Seychelles thus want to give priority to industry niches which Japanese travelers are fond of, such as weddings, honeymoons, activities physical fitness, scuba diving and fishing.

As a reminder, Japan with a population of 130 million people saw for the year 2012 nearly 18.5 million of his fellow citizens travelling abroad.
