Alain St.Ange, the Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports & Marine Minister of the Seychelles makes it on Sky News Arabia

Talk tourism and discuss a destination's potential and relevance is always best achieved when one makes it in a television news program. On Sunday night it was Minister Alain St.Ange. the Seychelles Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports & Marine Minister who made it on Sky News Arabia to discuss the position of the tourism industry of the Seychelles. Minister St.Ange is in Dubai in his return leg from Morocco where he participated at the African Tourism Forum on sustainable tourism. His stop in Dubai will enable the Seychelles Minister to deliver the Key Note Address on Tourism Destinations at the Conde Nast Traveller Luxury Travel Forum 2016 on the 14th November.

The Seychelles Minister was invited to the Sky News Arabia Studios in Dubai at Dubai Media City for a live interview that lasted 7 minutes in the Station's news program.

Minister St.Ange was questioned on the island's booming tourism trade and the growth now so evident from the UAE and the greater Middle East. Seychelles is recording 45% growth over last year's figures on a year to date basis and this with a 25000 in visitor numbers. The Seychelles Minister gave credit to the excellent air access between Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airlines and Air Seychelles and Dubai with Emirates. "We have over two flights a day everyday from Abu Dhabi and a further two flights from Dubai. We are but four hours flight away and we do not require a visa for our visitors to enter Seychelles. We have a pristine environment with turquoise blue seas that is clean and clear and we have powdery white sandy beaches that is also clean. we are just paradise" the Seychelles Minister said love on air as the most spectacular pictures of Seychelles were being beamed to the Arabic world on Sky News.

Minister St.Ange also explained the Seychelles sustainable tourism approach and the island's continued drive to consolidate its tourism industry.
