Seychelles in the Top 10 of the best destinations 2014 from Lonely Planet

 The Seychelles archipelago has been designated by the Lonely Planet site as one of the best travel destinations in the world to discover for the year 2014.
 
Seychelles thus hoisted 7th of this prestigious ranking which includes 10 destinations (*) leading behind the Brazil, Antarctica, Scotland, the Sweden, Malawi and the Mexico.

According to the site lonelyplanet.com, "these 115 divine islands " make up the Seychelles archipelago have all the ingredients for a unique experience with a wide range of activities to be carried out in landscapes such as "hiking, snorkeling, boat trips "and other opportunities to immerse themselves in the heart of the" Galapagos of the Indian Ocean."
 
"As small as we are, we are entitled to international recognition for the natural beauty of Seychelles. We will continue to combine tourism culture and heritage of the islands," said the Minister of Tourism and Culture Seychelles, Alain St. Ange, in the wake of this ranking.

Also president of Vanilla islands (Seychelles, Reunion, Mauritius, Madagascar, Comoros, Mayotte and the Maldives) Alain St. Ange has also stressed the importance of regional tourism cooperation for sustainable development and visibility of all the islands the Indian Ocean.
