The authorities of Seychelles multiply initiatives to make the archipelago an essential location for the world film industry in the wake of the exotic postcard landscapes that fit perfectly for the atmosphere of certain sequences.

Thus in July and August 2014, the Sri Lankan filmmaker Chandran Rutnum and famous in Hollywood will table his camera in the heart of the archipelago with shooting scheduled for his latest feature film "Promise".
Indian movies and other telenovelas should also soon land in Seychelles honoring the Seychellois paradisiacal landscape decorations.

Thus, the national television of Seychelles (SBC) decided to collaborate in the development of this industry to develop the tourist image of the archipelago of the Seychelles to the four corners of the planet.

The Minister of tourism and Culture of the Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, has on his part igiven his agreement for the project which will according to him increase the dimension of the Seychelles on external markets and increase the visibility of the destination.
