Seychelles: The international Carnival of Victoria followed by 84 media outlets around the world

The international Carnival of Victoria in the Seychelles which takes place from 25 to 27 April 2014, with a score of international cultural troops (1) present alongside many Seychellois chars, followed by 84 bodies of press from around the world.
The opening ceremony which is held for the first time at the Victoria Stadium will thus be relayed by 151 accredited journalists from the four corners of the planet (2).
"Thanks to the international Carnival of Victoria, it is all the Indian Ocean region who will win at the global level in terms of visibility We must highlight the richness of our culture and the warmth of our people", said the Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles and President of vanilla Islands, Alain Saint-Ange.
The international Carnival of Victoria is organised for the 2014 edition by Reunion, Madagascar and Mayotte who joined the Seychelles as well as South Africa and the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
The festive event is engraved in capital letters in the calendar of Vanilla Islands (Reunion, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros, Mayotte and Maldives Island).
The 4th edition of the Carnival of Victoria, Seychelles will also be covered this year by OI7 TV, the new regional television of Vanilla Islands.
