Seychelles: The countdown of the international Carnival in Victoria is launched

The countdown was launched for the organizers of the international Carnival in Victoria in the Seychelles which will take place from 25 to 27 April 2014.

The Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, thanked the various partners of the international Carnival without whom this festive and high venue in colours could not see the day in the heart of an archipelago placed for three days under the media spotlight in the international press.

The 4th edition in 2014 of the international Carnival in Victoria will be for the first time the airline Air Seychelles and Ethiad Airlines companies as partners.

The Minister of tourism and Culture of the Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, inter alia, invited traders from the archipelago to use Carnival as a springboard to promote their products.

The 2014 international Carnival of Victoria edition is co-organised by Reunion Island this year, Madagascar and Mayotte who joined the Seychelles as well as South Africa and the province of KwaZulu-Natal, with a presented opening ceremony in three languages (creole, English, French).

The international Carnival in Victoria in the Seychelles is engraved in capital letters in the calendar of the Islands vanilla (Reunion, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros, Mayotte and the Maldives).

The vanilla Islands advocate since their inception in August 2010 the repositioning of the Indian Ocean as a tourist destination and the cohesion of these countries around this common objective.

The 4th edition of the Carnival in Victoria, followed by the international press will be also covered this year by OI7 TV, the new regional television of the vanilla Islands.
