Seychelles: The Seychellois sea coconut is celebrated on the island of Praslin at a culinary festival

The first edition of the culinary festival which is held on the island of Praslin from 5 to 7 September 2014 to honour the creole cuisine and the largest seed in the world, the sea coconut of Seychelles , has attracted many tourists and other local visitors.
 
The Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, thus opened the first culinary festival on the island of Praslin recalling inter alia the unique nature proposed by the event.
 
The event took place at the Berjaya Praslin Beach hotel at the side of Côte d’Or, as reported in Seychelles New Agency.
 
Pastries, pies and ice cream including made to celebrate the sea coconut of Seychelles to form erotic and that have aphrodisiac, have undoubtedly attracted in the mouth the audience.
 
Eight of the greatest chefs of hotels in Praslin Island were also actors of a culinary competition that required the presentation of three different dishes, including a dessert.
