Seychelles: The Office of tourism of Mauritius not yet ready for the international Carnival in Victoria

The Tourist Office of Mauritius (MTPA) casts doubt on its participation in the next international Carnival in Victoria in the Seychelles as opposed to other members of the vanilla islands as Reunion, Madagascar and Mayotte.

The high event manifestation in colour is yet listed in capital letters on the calendar at the end of April next of vanilla Islands which Mauritius is an integral part since August 2010.

While the vanilla Islands advocate the repositioning of the Indian Ocean as a tourist destination and the cohesion of these countries around this common objective, the lack of reactivity of the Tourist Office of Mauritius drains in its wake a flood of issues within instances of the vanilla Islands.

As a reminder, the 4th edition of the Carnival of Victoria already followed by the international press will be covered this year by OI7 TV, new regional television of the vanilla Islands.
