Seychelles: The Air Seychelles in full growth for the first six months of 2014




 
The national airline company of the archipelago, Air Seychelles, published there some excellent results for the first half-day in 2014 with the increase in passenger traffic and air cargo.
 
Air Seychelles has recorded a profit of 50 million dollars for the first six of 2014 against 42 million dollars in the first half of 2013, slightly more than 19% increase.
 
184,101 passengers were counted against 146,980 passengers last year during the same calendar period, as reported by the site nouvelles-aujourdhui.com.
 
Mahe-Praslin thus remains the main link served with 71,961 passengers. Abu Dhabi with 49,934 passengers and a traffic growth of 90% points in second place and then follow Hong Kong with 24,142 passengers (+73%), Johannesburg 22 218 passengers (29%) and Mauritius with15,846 passengers (+14 4%).
 
The transport cargo of Air Seychelles also drained in its wake a sharp increase recorded between January and June 2014 tonnage, an increase of 35% compared to the first half of 2013.
