Seychelles: Seychelles traditional dances internship to preserve the cultural heritage of the archipelago
About fifteen employees of the Seychelles Civil Aviation (SCAA) have succeeded brilliantly their Seychellois traditional internship dances taught over 10 months since last August, and thus ensure the safeguarding of the cultural heritage of the insular archipelago.

The Minister of Tourism and Culture of Seychelles, Alain St. Ange, warmly congratulated his new ambassadors of a Seychellois culture conveyed through traditional dances, Mazok (polka) kosez (waltz and quadrille) padkat or koṭis of Scottish origin, and accompanied on accordion tunes, blending European and an African heritage in mestizo music.

"These dances are part of our culture, and continue to make in time, all generations should be encouraged to learn and practice ... It is therefore important to continue to preserve what is part of our heritage and to feel all proud of this cultural heritage ", said the Minister of Tourism and Culture of Seychelles, Alain St. Ange.
