Seychelles: Reunion between the Minister of tourism, Alain Saint-Ange, and professionals in the sector on the island of La Digue




The Minister of tourism and Culture of the Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, convened on Friday last on the island of La Digue all trading partners of the tourism sector which operate in the heart of the third most populated island of the archipelago of the Seychelles.
 
A working session and collective reflection to gauge tourism action deployed on the ground by the Ministry of tourism and Culture, with the return of comments or suggestions from the professionals (hoteliers, owners of vessels providing routes and inter-island etc.) who work on the island of la Digue.
 
Minister of Tourism and Culture of Seychelles, Alain St. Ange was accompanied for this particular meeting Anne Lafortune, Secretary of Tourism Naiken Sherin, Director of the Office of Tourism Seychelles, Nathalie Dido Deputy Director of the National Tourism Council and Rose-Marie Hoare, Marketing Director of the Office of Tourism.
 
As a reminder, La Digue is the fourth island in size of the Seychelles with five kilometers long by three wide.
 
From January to November 2013, 206.886 tourists visited Seychelles, an increase of 12% over the same period calendar of 2012.
