Seychelles: Proximity visit of the Minister of Tourism, Alain Saint-Ange, to establishments of the archipelago




The Ministry of tourism of the archipelago began in late last week his first visits of proximity within several hotels and motels and accommodation establishments * of Seychelles.
 
The Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, and the Director of the Office of tourism of Seychelles alongside managers and other departmental employees thus carried out "personalised" displacement closer to the expectations of professionals in the sector and to directly interfere in the concrete reality of the tourism field of Seychelles.
 
"It was time for us to break with our traditional approaches to holding meetings with large groups of hotels in a closed... room We knew that we needed to hear not only your successes but also hear directly the challenges... We heard as well the aspirations of our small hotel", said the Minister of tourism of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange.
 
Tours of the same kind should still be scheduled within two weeks and the Minister of Tourism of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, is committed to answer personally point by point to the various issues and questions raised by stakeholders in tourism during these movements of proximity.
 
As a reminder, 230.272 tourists visited Seychelles in 2013, an increase of 11% over the previous year.
