Seychelles: President James Michel, received the honors of the French Republic when he arrived this morning in Reunion

The Seychelles President James Michel has received the honors of the French Republic when he arrived at Roland Garros Airport in Sainte-Marie this morning.
Red carpet, military honor and greetings from local politicians.
The Prefect, Jean-Luc Marx, the president of the Regional Council, Didier Robert, the President of the General Council Nassimah Dindar, Senator Paul Vergès, Senator Jacqueline Farreyrol, president of the Association of Mayors, Robert Roland and members, Jean-Jacques Vlody and Jean-Claude Fruteau were on the tarmac to greet him.

As a reminder, James Michel is accompanied on this official trip to Reunion by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Paul Adam, the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Alain St. Ange and the Diplomatic Advisor to the President, Ambassador Callixte d'Offay, who is also the Ambassador of Seychelles to the Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, and special envoy to Reunion.
During his visit of to the island two days James Michel will meet with the Prefect, and will be received by the Presidents of the Regional Council and General of Reunion.
Marylise Lebranchu, Minister of Public Service, will also receive the President of Seychelles on behalf of the French State.
The President of Seychelles, James Michel, has already gone to Reunion in December 2006.
