Seychelles: Opening of a new hospital of Anse Royale, Mahe, financed by China
The new renovated hospital of Anse Royale on the island of Mahé, whose work was funded by China, was officially inaugurated a few days ago, in the presence of the Seychelles President James Michel, the President of the Commission of the African Union, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Minister of Health of the archipelago, Mitcy Larue, and the
Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Shi Zhonjun.

The President of Seychelles, James Michel warmly thanked the Chinese authorities of having contributed to the realization of a modern hospital which can accommodate 54 patients whose tools and equipment allow the Seychelles population to benefit from appropriate care for all residents.

The renovation of the hospital in Anse Royale, located in the south-east of the island of Mahe, which was created in 1906 with the first medical care, cost 40 million Seychelles rupees or slightly more than 2.5 million euro.
