Seychelles: Meeting between Minister Alain Saint-Ange and the inter-religious Committee in the wake of the international Carnival in Victoria




The Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, recently met the inter-religious Committee (SIFCO) representing all confessions of the archipelago.
 
During the discussions, the Minister of tourism and Culture, Alain Saint-Ange, commended the role of the inter-religious Committee for the harmony of Seychellois society through all its components.
 
The Minister of Tourism and Culture of Seychelles, Alain St Ange, stated in particular to its various interlocutors that the annual dominical Family Day will be held this year at the International Carnival of Victoria (25-27 April 2014), including the introduction of the children's Carnival.
 
"We are aware that we need to develop our Carnival culture that reflects our Seychellois creole lifestyle. Carnival of children will help the younger generations of the archipelago of appropriating the event," said the Minister of tourism and Culture of the Seychelles, Alain Seychelles.
 
As a reminder, the international Carnival in Victoria in the Seychelles, high event manifestation in colours, is registered in the calendar Islands vanilla (Reunion, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros, Mayotte and Maldives).
