Seychelles: Culinary competition for chefs and lovers of the creole cuisine in the first edition of the culinary Festival of Praslin




The first edition of the Culinary Festival and arts which will take place on the island of Praslin from 5 to 7 September 2014 to honor the creole cuisine is still under preparation at the level of the authorities in charge of its organisation.
 
A culinary competition under the supervision of the Academy of the Seychelles Tourism for chefs and all cooking enthusiasts is thus registered in the program of festivities and currently monopolises all attentions.
 
The Seychelles Tourism Academy held a meeting at the end of last week to gather the various actors who will take part in the demonstration, with among others the culinary presentation of Coco de Mer tropical dishes with dried almonds.
 
As a reminder, the Ministry of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles is also working alongside the Tourist Board of the archipelago to the implementation of the event.
 
Cake recipes, pies and ice cream will be especially made from the core of the famous Seychellois sea coconut to the erotic shape and which would have some aphrodisiac virtues.
