Seychelles: African culture celebrated in the archipelago at the end May




The Seychelles archipelago prepares to celebrate from 22 to 25 May African culture through FetAfrik 2014 edition consisting of artists from the black continent.
 
Several outdoor concerts in the heart of Victoria in Mahé Island are programmed to beat the heart of the archipelago to the rhythm of Africa.
 
The Organising Committee of FetAfrik including announces the presence of the DJ kenyan Kalonje, a shoe size in the music African industry.
 
Nigerian fashion designer Alphadi, nicknamed "The magician of the Desert" will also part.
 
A popular market with African objects will be also organised.
 
"Time has come for us to celebrate our connection to the African continent... For this edition of FetAfrik, we have sought the participation of various African groups, to make sure to highlight our cultural diversity," said Minister of tourism and Culture of the Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange.
