Seychelles: A new Chinese ambassador working in the archipelago




Since the independence of Seychelles in 1976, the Seychelles archipelago and China have always maintained cordial diplomatic relations.
 
The new Chinese ambassador in Victoria is named Yin Lixian and has recently presented her credentials to the President of Seychelles, James Michel.
 
The Head of State of the archipelago and Yin Lixian were able to discuss several issues of common interests between the two countries.
 
The Seychelles President James Michel has thanked China for its support to the archipelago in the infrastructure development of the Seychelles.
 
"I was very impressed with the cleanliness of your country. China can learn a lot from you as regards the protection of the environment," said the new Chinese ambassador to Seychelles.
