Seychelles: A new CEO of Etihad Airways in the archipelago

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, was appointed to the position of Director General at the Seychelles, Ahmed Al Shehhi Ershood.

Ahmed Al Shehhi Ershood who joined the company in 2008 thus succeeds Rashed Al Saif Shabi who went to the island of Cyprus.

Ahmed Al Shehhi Ershood will endeavour to develop passenger traffic (leisure and business) between the Seychelles and the destinations served by Etihad Airways, to the four corners of the planet via the hub of Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Airways launched its binding between Abu Dhabi and the island of Mahé in Seychelles in November 2011, and currently operates three weekly flights with an Airbus A320.

As a reminder, Etihad Airways holds 40% of the share capital of Air Seychelles.
