Seychelles: 38 kilograms of cannabis from Madagascar seized 400 nautical miles south of the island of Mahé
The Seychellois coastguard intercepted, last week, at 400 nautical miles south of the island of Mahé, the Amra boat with onboard 38 kilograms of cannabis leaves as well as resin. The crew of the ship was arrested.

For the police drug squad of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA), a large part of the drug shipment was thrown into the sea after the boat engine has a break down as related the Letter of the Indian Ocean.

The Seychellois police suspect that the seized cannabis comes from Madagascar.
