The former candidate for the 2007 presidential election and current president of the Poitou-Charentes, Segolene Royal, continues her visit to Mauritius in the festivities of the Independence of the country, with a remarkable passage on Thursday at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute in Moka in the center of the island.

The official program honoring the International Day of Women, made Ségolène Royal to recall that "in May 2010, the Mauritian government has changed the appellation of the Ministry of Women's Rights into the Ministry of Gender equality of child development and well-being of the family. Whereas in France, there is a debate on the issue of gender. "

For Ségolène, France should follow the example of Mauritius in terms of gender equality.
