Reunion: The Piton de la Fournaise volcano shows signs of end of eruption

The Piton de la Fournaise on Réunion Island woke up on Saturday, June 21, 2014 after 4 years of sleep.
One of the most active volcanoes in the world thus experienced a short-lived rash since Sunday evening no lava poured out of the cracks formed on the East-South-East flank of the Summit cone of about 2,300 meters above sea level.
The activity of the tremor, continuous signal in direct relation with the rise of magma on the surface has stopped.
Seismic activity persists nonetheless...
