Reunion: French tour operators in eductour in Reunion with Overseas Passion

From 4 to 6 April 2014, ten French tour-operators went on eductours in the island of Reunion, accompanied by the receptive agency Passion overseas. Organised in partnership with the Île de La Réunion Tourisme (IRT), this journey of discovery entitled Dodo Tour, focused on upgrading of the sites of the heights of the island and its coastal sides.

Ten tour operators, including business managers or heads of product, made the trip to the island from 4-6 last April, during an educational organised by Passion overseas in collaboration with the IRT.
The objective of the third edition of the Dodo round 2014: encourage tour operators to program and sell the Reunion destination including through the discovery of the diversity of the island's natural and cultural heritage.
The circuit concocted by the incoming Agency took the group visit the lush cirque de Salazie and the village of Hell-Bourg, ranked among the most beautiful Villages of France.
On the spot, they could admire the waterfall of the veil of the bride and make a quick stroll on the side of the Bé-Mahot islet with its point of view on the surrounding peaks. Tourism professionals also visited the hotel Spa Héva gardens * as well as the peaks relay *.
The next day, Wild South direction for participants who discovered the ancient lava flow that reached the ocean a few years earlier. After the visit of Parfums et des Epices in Saint-Philippe, they visited the site of Cap Méchant where the waves of the Indian Ocean come crashing against the cliff of basaltic rock. On the way back to the west coast, stopping at the Etang-Salé enabled professionals to visit the hotel Floralys *** before finishing *** Novotel Saint-Gilles-les-Bains.
