Press Conference of the Vanilla Islands in the international fair of tourism in London




Vanilla Islands (Mauritius, Reunion, Seychelles, Madagascar, Comoros, Mayotte and the Maldives), which emerged in August 2010 held a press conference, Wednesday, 6 November 2013 at the international exhibition of tourism "World Travel Market" of London (4-7 November 2013).
 
The president of the Islands Vanilla, Alain Saint-Ange, and also Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles thus stressed before the press the commitment of the Vanilla Islands to Indian Ocean tourist destination offering diversity and attractiveness built around unit display of its members. 

A tourism policy of first plan that the Secretary-General of the world Organization of tourism (WTO), Jordan Taleb Rifai has warmly welcomed and that the WTO will support.
 
"Through unity that we have within the Vanilla Islands, we build a common tourist region that will enable the sustainable development of our island economies, thanks to our island culture, our heritage and the beauty of our landscapes", said the Chairman of Vanilla Islands, Alain Saint-Ange.
 
Thanks to the new Whale Route, driven by the Vanilla Islands with an inter-island circuit to monitor the annual displacement of cetaceans in the region was discussed.
 
The President of the Vanilla Islands, Alain St. Ange, has also presented to the press the new director of the Vanilla Islands Viroleau Pascal, former director of the IRT (Reunion Island Tourism) and Derek Savy marketing manager who will bring their skills to the promotion and development of Vanilla islands.
