Murder of Michaela Harte: A third employee already at the heart of the case could be prosecuted for the murder of Irish tourist
The crime of the Irish tourist 28 year old, Michaela Harte-Mc Areavey found dead at the beginning of 2011, in room 1025 of the former Legends Hotel, now known as Lux, has a new episode.
 
According to information relayed by the newspaper Lexpress of Mauritius, the Criminal Police CCID (Central Criminal Investigation) filed last December, a supplementary report to the Director of Public Prosecutions (note: the equivalent of the Prosecutor of the Republic), so that the third employee of the hotel, already at the heart of the case of suspected theft and whose charges had been struck on March 1, to be continued this time for the murder of Irish tourist Michaela Harte.
 
As a reminder, the third employee was more of a witness for the prosecution at the trial in July 2012, which had been initiated against two other members of staff of the luxury hotel.

They had been acquitted, after one of the two accused acknowledged before the popular jury, be passed to confession because the brutality committed by the police during interrogation.
 
Michaela Harte-Mc Areavey was killed in January 2011 during her honeymoon in Mauritius. Walk off searching cakes for her tea in her hotel room, the young tourist would have surprised her attacker or attackers before being strangled.
