The French Minister of Arts & Crafts, Trade and Tourism, Sylvia Pinel, on a visit on the stand of Seychelles at Top Resa in Paris.

Received by the Minister of tourism and Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, who has just begun a second term at the head of the vanilla Islands (Mauritius, Reunion, Seychelles, Comoros, Mayotte, Madagascar and Maldives), the Minister of Tourism, Sylvia Pinel, and her counterpart Alain Saint-Ange, discussed the major construction projects of the international conference of the world Organization of tourism (OMT), which is held at the beginning of September in Reunion.

The two ministers also provided an update on the Vanilla Islands and their development in the Indian Ocean region in the service of island economies of seven members.

The President of the vanilla Island, Alain Saint-Ange, also met the press where he stressed that Vanilla Islands now have an own identity being a strong tourism region in a diversity and complementarity in the heart of the Indian Ocean.

The next campaigns will be studied to radiate the entity of Vanilla Islands with travel agencies and tour operators. Cruises in the heart of the 7 islands "human scale" are also considered.
