Meeting of Ministers of Tourism of Southern Africa in Mozambique

The Ministers for Tourism of the Development Community of Southern Africa (SADC) met last Friday in Maputo, Mozambique for a workshop on the development of the sector and this, under the presidency of Minister of Zimbabwe, Walter Mzembi.
Government officials of Tourism of Zambia (Sylvia Masebo), Mozambique (Carvalho Muaria), South Africa (Marthinus van Schalkwyk) and Seychelles (Alain St. Ange) we able to contribute to the work of the Regional Tourism Organisation countries of Southern Africa (RETOSA).
To recap, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) shows 2% of the global tourism market, about 20 million visitors per year.
The strategic focus of RETOSA is particularly encourage tourists to extend their stay in a country belonging to the of Southern Africa regional tourism organization.
