Mayotte: RSA slightly increased on the island as from 1 January

The monthly lump sum of income of active solidarity (RSA), applicable in Mayotte, for a household where a single beneficiary is counted, will experience an increase of 0.90% on January 1, 2015.
256.94 euros will thus be allocated to the beneficiary, against 513.88 euros in France on 1 January of the coming year, according to a decree recently published in the Official Journal.
The revaluation rates taken into account has been established in relation to the inflation forecast for 2015 as it has been considered by the government as part of the economic, social and the accompanying Financial Report to the Finance Bill 2015.
As a reminder, this is an order of 24 November 2011, which had been put into effect the RSA in Mayotte and that was set on September 1, 2012 at 119.00 euros. The active solidarity income was then increased by 35.07% in December 2013 as part of a RSA upgrading plan in Mayotte.
