Mayotte: Provisionally suspended strike of social officers of the general Council

538 Officers the Direction of solidarity and social development (DSDS) dependent on the general Council of Mayotte which had begun on October 17 an indefinite strike movement, to the call of the FO and CGT trade unions, to demand better working conditions, have decided to return temporarily to work.
"The strike is not over, because we has not signed the Protocol, but as we feel there is listening and a constructive spirit, work will resume tomorrow," said Kamiloudine Sulema, Deputy Secretary general of the CGT on the island to perfumes.

The strike has for now deferred to Thursday 7 November and should again be topical until the commitments of the general Council of Mayotte will be not recorded in fact.
The president of the departmental community, Daniel Zaidani, notably took part in negotiations with Union representatives.
Eight vehicles are thus made available this week of solidarity and social development directorate officers to carry out their daily tasks of proximity.

Three social workers and four newly recruited special educators should integrate the service in the first quarter of next year.
Photocopiers, printers, reams of papers will also be granted to DSDS at the end of the year according to the commitment made by the General Council of Mayotte.
Services devolved to the PMI (maternal and child health) will also become their custom for the 2014 fiscal budget line, as shown in the Journal of Mayotte.
