Mayotte: Minister, Marie - Arlette Carlotti, launches the Autism planon the island

Marie-Arlette Carlotti, Minister delegate to the Minister of Social Affairs and health, in charge of disabled people and combating exclusion, visiting Mayotte for two days launched on Sunday on the island, in the premises of the regional agency of health (ARS) in Mamoudzou, autism plan for the period 2013-2017.

Mayotte is the first department for providing the plan autism which is now in its third planning on an island without screening tools ahead, and no figure for the number of autism present in Mayotte is for the time listed.
The Minister, Marie-Arlette Carlotti, has announced an envelope of € 2 million for the island of perfumes on the 205.5 million euros committed at national level, as indicated by the newspaper of Mayotte.

"We will have to strengthen the centre of medico-social action that comes to open and mount the diagnostic tools", stressed on his side Chantal de Singly, Director of the regional Indian Ocean Health Agency (ARS - OI).
A Working Committee of all stakeholders for support of autism in Mayotte is already programmed from the week next under the aegis of the ARS. "It is to target better the needs for the implementation of the plan," said Chantal de singly.
