Mayotte: Mahoran airline company, Ewa has transported more than 20,000 passengers in a few months of operation

The new company Mahoran airline company Ewa serving six destinations (Moroni, Moutsamoudou, Pemba, Dar-Es-Salam, Majunga and Nosy Be) has recorded since late November 2013 more than 20,000 passengers, with an average occupancy rate of flights of 52% for the first five months of operation.
However, more than 65% of available seats have been reserved for the next two months, as reported by the Journal of Mayotte.
As a reminder, the Mahoran airline company Ewa with Air Austral as main shareholder company, with over 52% of 4.4 million euros of capital, is also 47.7% owned by the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Mayotte (22.7%) and the company Ylang Invest (25%).
