Mayotte: FAZSOI deployed for humanitarian crisis followed by abuses by foreign armed militias simulation

From Monday through Thursday, the military area south of the Indian Ocean (FAZSOI) participate in a full-scale exercise management of humanitarian crises around the island of Mayotte and of the scattered islands.
Significant resources of land, air and naval forces are well deployed under the code name "Caltaux 2013" with a more perilous scenario.
Following the passage of a violent cyclone, armed in the pay of a foreign country and grouped into militias commit abuses in the part South of Mayotte.
The military mission of the FAZSOI is to proceed with the evacuation of French citizens trapped in the South of the island of perfumes and stabilize the area concerned in support of the regular forces on the ground.

Two aircraft of type TRANSALL C160, the ships La Grandière, Le Malin, Le Morse, a helicopter of the national gendarmerie, 250 paratroopers from the second RPIMA and two combined arms groups are particularly engaged in the operation 'Caltaux 2013'.
The logistics is coordinated from a position of joint command located at Reunion, according to the journal of Mayotte.
