From Nosy Be in Madagascar, the cruise ship "MS Hamburg" landed in Mamoudzou in Mayotte on Friday for 10 hours to dock and hosted between songs, flowers and folk dances by the Committee of tourism of Mayotte.
About 400 passengers, mostly of German origin were able take advantage of the stopover to discover the charms of Mayotte, with several tourist excursions programmed for cruise passengers. It is the last cruise vessel docking in  Mahoran land for the 2013-2014 season, as indicated Kwezi Television (KTV).
As a reminder, the professionals of the sector in Mayotte particularly want to develop traffic, with about 18,000 tourists a year which should land in a few years at the port of Longoni.
