Mauritius will recompense its athletes who have distinguished themselves during the Indian Ocean islands Games

The Mauritian Ministry of Youth and Sports is going to lay hand on the portfolio in recognition of the performances of athletes who are brilliantly illustrated during the last Indian Ocean islands Games (IOIG) which took place in Reunion.
Mauritius had ended up in the second place with a total number of 185 medals won (66 gold, 49 silver and 70 bronze).
They are thus about 5.884 million rupees (154,842 euros) that will be awarded to athletes who honored the Mauritian quadricolore flag in the different events of IOIG.
