Mauritius: unforeseen dismissal of Desvaux Robert, President of the Office of Tourism
For years, Robert Desvaux presided over the destiny of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) and the tourist influence of the Mauritius destination at the four corners of the planet.

A presidency of the Mauritius Tourism Office which no longer ensures since the end of last week, Robert Desvaux after receiving his letter of redundancy of the Minister of Tourism, Michael Sik Yuen.

The main person has hosted this letter of termination with philosophy, in spite of everything proud of the work done for the promotion of tourism in Mauritius.

 However, the relationship with his minister had become increasingly strained. Robert was Desvaux overshadow Michael Sik Yuen, as discussed in the background of many professionals of the sector shocked by a drastic measure.

"I had to assist him and help him, for a period of six months, to get acquainted and adapt in this new Ministry... I stayed at this position for a year and a half", also said Robert Desvaux who decided to quickly turn the page without any controversy.

"I would like to thank the Government for the trust it has placed in me all these years", concluded Robert Desvaux.
