Mauritius makes its tourists discover its charms in the Parisian metro

While the Hexagon tourists remains the leading tourism market to land its passengers in Mauritius, Mauritius Tourist Office * launched on Thursday 21 May a wide promotional campaign of destination program for a week, and this, in metro stations in Paris.
280 screens thus continuously broadcast a 10-second promotional video putting forward the Mauritian charms and a giant screen implanted in La Défense also assures the tourism image of Mauritius in this famous Parisian business area. The slogan "Mauritius reveals its inner beauty" was chosen for this campaign which will also be repeated from 11 to 17 June.
As a reminder, 243,665 visitors from the Hexagon traveled to Mauritius in 2014. From January to April 2015, 99,558 French tourists have already deposited their luggage in the island for a holiday in the middle of the Indian Ocean, representing an increase of 2.6% in one year. And during the low season from May to September, the reduced or discounted fares shall be proposed by the national airline Air Mauritius and six additional connections will be implemented to serve the destination, or 3,600 extra seats available at this time to French travelers.
