Mauritius in vigilance after the terrorist attack of Shebab in Nairobi
The Mauritian authorities are vigilant after the terrible terrorist attack that targeted the capital of Kenya on Saturday perpetrated by Somali Shebab that killed according to a provisional report 68 people and more than 200 wounded  in the heart of Nairobi.

Fearing to be the target of reprisals in its fight against piracy, as indicated by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius, with a dozen Somali prisoners in prison in Mauritius prosecuted for piracy the authorities do not want to exclude any threat from jihadi militants.

"We are following what happened in Kenya very closely, as the recent bomb attacks in Madagascar", said a senior Mauritian police officer to the newspaper Le Mauricien.

The anti-terrorist cell in Mauritius Counter Terrorism Unit, must submit a comprehensive report on potential targets on the island such as the port authorities shortly, the airport and other public buildings or shopping centers.
