Mauritius attempt to abduct of a teenager in full Independence Day, the abductor lynched by the crowd
The Independence celebrations of that took place at the stage Anjalay Coopen Belle-Vue in the north of Mauritius was marked by the abortive abduction of a boy of 12 years in the parking lot of the sports arena.
 
His captor of 47 years, under the influence of alcohol, could not kidnap the boy that he tried to bring in a cane field near the parking lot.
 
The boy struggled and screamed for help. Cries heard by many of those present at the stadium Anjalay Coopen. In the scuffle with his captor, the teenager manages to free from its claws.
 
The assailant immediately tries to escape through the cane fields, but is quickly overtaken by an angry mob who pummels on site.
 
The man was then handed over to police for interrogation, but for now denies any involvement in the kidnapping, saying he just asked the nearest bus stop to reach Port Louis.
