Mauritius at the approach of the very intense tropical cyclone Bansi, 101 km / h gusting registered at Le Morne

While the very intense tropical cyclone, Bansi, prowls in the neighborhood of the north of Mauritius in less than 280 kilometers, the wind blew hard in some places on the island, as in Le Morne and Port-Louis which recorded gusts of 101 km / h and 97 km / h respectively.
The rains were particularly abundant in the last 24 hours in some areas, including Pailles, Pointe-aux-Canonniers, Mare aux Vacoas and Bois-Cheri.
More than a thousand people have also already found refuge in shelters and left their precarious housing. The latter were under the threat of bad weather and strong winds ahead.
