Mauritius and the Czech Republic signed an air agreement

An agreement for the development flight connections between Mauritius and the Republic has been signed last week. It is the Czech ambassador in Mauritius, Blanca Fajkusova who signed the official record along with the Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Public Service, Sateeaved Seebaluck.
The agreement has as objective to implement up to seven weekly flights between both countries and expand the number of Czech tourists and Mauritians using those lines.
As a reminder, 4510 Czech travelers visited the island between January and late July 2015, representing an increase of 8.4% over the calendar period compared to figures recorded last year. Czech tourists have nearly doubled in July, up 49.3%.
