Mauritius and Seychelles signed a treaty of non-double taxation in Guernsey

The anglo-normande island of Guernsey has signed a non-double taxation treaty with Mauritius and the Seychelles archipelago as reported in the Le Défi Quotidien newspaper.
 
Gavin Saint-Pier, Minister of finance and Resources of the island of Guernsey, thus welcomed the "work in close collaboration with the Member States of the Southern African Development Community (SADC)" from 2011 with for strategic ‘axes support the capacity of these countries to protect their fiscal resources '.

"These two agreements are a perfect illustration of this work, which is in line with the objectives of development of many organisations, including the G8 and the OECD," said Gavin Saint-Pier, Minister of finance and the resources of the channel island of Guernsey during the signing of the Treaty of non-double tax treaties.
 
As a reminder, Guernsey dependency of the British Crown with an area of 78 km2 lies in the Britannic Channel off the French coast.
