Mauritius: Unable to connect to Google and You Tube in several regions of the island
Since last Sunday, and until the beginning of the week, tens of thousands of Internet users Mauritians were on the verge of nerves.   Access to Google and You Tube has been unavailable for the western regions, East, and the centre of the island of Mauritius.

For the Mauritian national operator Mauritius Telecom, the fault lies with Google's servers located in the United States, although since Sunday evening the hotline already recognized to undergo disturbances on its network, as relates the site lexpress.mu

But in the local computer environment, the excuse of clearance does not pass.  "Google has placed 3,000 servers worldwide, so that users from each country have access to its services more easily", explains a computer engineer that points the finger to the national operator responsible of this failure.
