Mauritius: Tourist receipts increased between January and November 2014 on the island




Tourism revenue for the first eleven months of the year 2014 is amounted to 39.5 billion rupees have experienced * an increase of 9.5% compared to the same calendar period in 2013, as indicated by the Central Bank of Mauritius.
 
For its part, tourist arrivals between January à November 2014 were similarly up (+ 4.8%), with 918,184 tourists who visited Mauritius.
 
As a reminder, 1,038,968 tourists landed in Mauritius last year, an increase of 4.6% compared to tourist arrivals registered in 2013 and its 993,106 tourists recorded.
