Mauritius: Tourism revenues down for the year 2013

Tourist revenue on the island of Mauritius in the 2013 is valued at 40.6 billion rupees * decreased by more than 9% over the year 2012, where the sector had achieved 44.4 billion of revenue, according to the Central Bank of Mauritius.
As a reminder, tourist arrivals in Mauritius have increased by 2.9% in 2013 with 993.106 registered visitors.
 Meanwhile, the official body Statistics Mauritius provided last March an increase of tourist arrivals in 2014, with an increase of 3.7% and approximately 1.030.000 travelers who should visit Mauritius in 2014, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
